Key responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as a Senior Consultant-QA at Fabric:

The Senior Quality Analyst is responsible for working alongside teams and collaborating with different stakeholders to deliver projects with high quality and confidence. This includes building automation test suites, collaborating with BA and Product Owners in Analysis and coaching team members about quality, overall baking quality into the product.

Specific Duties Include:

• Building Automation test framework for web and mobile applications
• Integrating tests with CI pipelines
• Hands on different kinds of testing –API testing, web and mobile automation, Database testing and Performance testing
• Defect lifecycle management and test data management
• Leading the entire QA process for the project
• Building and reporting QA metrics
• Being an ambassador for Fabric, promoting our values and the practices we use to make sure we build the software right
• Participate in interviewing and recruitment based on business needs
• Generate thought leadership content relevant to your role to support our marketing department in social media activities and meetups

The Senior QA will apply their proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to both develop systems and resolve issues within them. They will ensure that the quality of the application and code is maintained and delivered within the estimated timeframe for our clients.

About you

The skills you would need to be a Senior Quality Analyst:

• Experience in Object-oriented Programming and at least 1 programming language
• 7 to 8 years’ experience writing Automated Tests and building frameworks around it 
• Should be able to create and build test plans and strategy, etc
• Experience in using Cypress, Playwright or Webdriver, Appium, Selenium and other open source testing tools like Cucumber, Gatling etc
• Experience in automated API testing, CI/CD knowledge
• Experience with cloud technologies: AWS or Azure or GCP
• Experience in testing web-services in an automated fashion
• Basic understanding of Dev-ops practices – Docker, K8s, terraform
• Experience in writing SQL queries 
• Good collaboration, communication, collaboration,  analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Experience in working in an Agile development environment
• Experience in coaching and mentoring team members
